For our members, AHHS' 990 was filed by the IRS Deadline.

It is important to research you charity of choice to ensure they have filed their required tax forms by the IRS deadline. Non-profit organizations can accumulate significant IRS penalties if their tax report (Form 990) to the IRS is not filed by the deadline.

If using a calendar year (Jan 1 - Dec 31), the charitable organization has until May 15 of the following year to file.

If using a fiscal year, the charitable organization has 5 months from the end of their fiscal year to file. Tax exempt organizations who file their 990s late "must pay" $20.00 per day each day the return is late.
